The islamic boarding school Daara IBN JAWJIYYA is located in the Rufisque area at 25 km from Dakar. Its condition is similar to the one of the N.M school with also a lot of huge financial problems.
The manager of the school contacted SYAPE for a financial support in order to rehabilitate the school building which had partially collapsed after the rains during the rainy season.
In conformity to its mission to support and help schools, SYAPE decided to act on this emergency case which would have prevented the pupils from having somewhere to study and a roof over their heads if it wasn’t rehabilitated.
After internal consultation, SYAPE members decided to donate the amount of 500€ to this school, to allow the rehabilitation works to start as soon as possible.
